Jab Harry Met Sejal Movie Review

Jab Harry Met Sejal makes a reference to writer Rumi’s quote, ‘What you look for is looking for you.’ The tale of the film is as straight forward as this quote – two outsiders, attempting to fill their lives with adoration, locate each other and understand their bond, and their harmony fills the missing bits of the jigsaw of their life. Shah Rukh Khan plays the presumptuous, self-retained, womanizing Harry, a visit control who resorts to quick ones and one-night stands to adjust for the absence of genuine love, while Anushka Sharma plays Sejal, a Gujarati young lady who loses her wedding band amid a visit ride crosswise over Europe and expectations that Harry will be her assistant in finding that ring back.

The film is fundamental and without any contrivances or stuff. Imtiaz figures out how to keep the attention on Harry and Sejal from the main edge till the last, putting resources into their feelings and making their voyage completely relatable. As a gathering of people, you not just purchase this thought of going on this erratic adventure with Harry and Sejal however really relate feel the interface with their circumstances. Sejal’s dilemma of not trusting Harry at first and his change of heart towards her are not simply contorting in the plot but rather complex character characteristics that Imtiaz draws on his imaginative canvas. The peak and summit of this excursion may be unsurprising, however, the ride en route is justified regardless of each penny.

Jab Harry Met Sejal review

Shah Rukh Khan is the encapsulation of sentiment. He’s made a profession out of offering the thought of everlasting affection, cherish that rises above age and each conceivable boundary, adore that is unadulterated and honest. In Jab Harry Met Sejal, SRK rethinks himself in a way that will overwhelm your brain. It isn’t just about the stubble or his look, the way he takes a gander at Anushka or that force when his eyes wind up noticeably sudden, He done this and considerably more on the wide screen.Imtiaz Ali’s vision and SRK’s energy for sentiment is really a deadly blend that lights up each and every edge of the film. As an execution, JHMS is maybe his most serious yet simple part as of late. He’s stripped himself from any mark, section or desire, surrendering to his executive with most extreme intense conviction.

Anushka Sharma hits the ball out of the park as Sejal. The trails and teasers did no justice to what a powerhouse performer she is in the film. It was a tricky role to play a Gujarathi girl with inhibitions and apprehensions, but instead of cowering under the weight of its complexities, Anushka soars and delivers with the finest grace. Her mannerisms, accent, and even the way she bites her lips and quivers – everything is on point. Despite doing two films together (Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Jab Tak Hai Jaan) there is a strange freshness to Shah Rukh and Anushka’s pairing in this film. There are scenes where these two create beautiful moments with just conversations and a stare, no theatrics or dramatics needed. Imtiaz’s idea of romance is timeless and classic and his lead stars do full justice to this notion.

The pace slackens in the second half and a few scenes that include some settler goons and their association with discovering Sejal’s ring, crash and burn. Additionally, a Punjabi track, that includes an engagement, felt constrained and superfluous. Starting here forward the diagram of the film goes downhill. Harry’s flashbacks to Punjab and his backstory merited a superior clarification. The music of the film is great, yet just a couple of tracks, to be specific”Radha” and “Hawayein,” figure out how to remain.

Bottom Line: Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka’s chemistry that takes the film to another level.

NOTE: This is our opinion only, please go and watch the movie in theaters only.
